Layout Beginings

My layout started as a Bachmann starter set with a CN F9, two cars, and a caboose. I could only set it on the living room floor, because there was no room for a table anywhere. Now, my layout sits on a 3X8 table in my room, with a extension on one end to allow track up to my wall shelf and put a three track yard on the shelf. I also have four serviceable locomotives - an Athearn RTR AC4400CW as CP 9502, a Walthers Trainline GP9m, now detailed and kitbashed to look like its correct prototype, CP 1597, a Bachmann DCC On-board GP38-2 CP 3126, and an Intermountain DCC ES44DC CN 2253. For rolling stock, I have about eleven serviceable cars, including a Rapido CP Caboose.

Other than collecting the power and stock, I have also gotten into detailing. This has started from basic weathering to now Kitbashing. I weather with a simple paint brush, some acrylic paint, and whatever I'm weathering. For me, its cheaper, and will probably be easier than an airbrush, although you can get very good results with an airbrush... if you know how to use it haha.

That's all I can say now. prepare for more posts to come! Happy modeling!
